I've been in the food industry for 34 years, the last 19 in food ingredients and dietary supplements. To buy from the people that sell to companies like BSN, your volume would have to be tremendous and your capital incredibly large. As an example a truckload of whey protein isolate would cost over $300,000. My company spent over $500k in sterile blending rooms and stainless steel blenders in addition to the certification required to produce dietary supplements and the audits that are required by customers to verify that you follow all of the required CFR's......cGMP's.
