Fish during a bulk phase

I've been eating steak / ground beef a lot lately and I want to switch it up. I'm not the biggest fan of cooked salmon, so I was thinking maybe load up on sushi grade salmon (I enjoy poke bowls w/ salmon and sushi), and building my own poke bowls to replace my steak/rice/avocado meal. Also wanted to ask you all what other types of fish you throw in during a bulk phase. I've heard swordfish and catfish is good, any other recs?

Grouper. God damn I love grouper. Orange roughy and red snapper are great too. I generally save tilapia for cutting, but that's more because I like it with less calorie dense recipes

Forgot about grouper. I'll add that to my list

Not meaning to be a Debbie Downer but have you ever seen how tilapia is raised? I used to eat the hell out of it until I saw some articles. It’s raised in absolute shit holes in third world countries. If you see one of the ponds it turns your stomach.

I do not go anywhere near tilapia for this reason. It’s a shit fish.

Grouper, Halibut and cod in that order is what i like.

Literally. When the pond is basically a septic tank from a previous species and is toxic to them, they put in Tilapia to eat all of their shit

Cod is extremely easy to digest, good when you need to pound large amount of protein with the least satiating effect.
I do like cod but I need something with a higher fat content to keep my fullness. I look way more flat when I switch over to white fish

Easy fix. Put Mac or olive oil over it. Cod and Mac oil is one of the staples of my growth phases as it’s so easy to digest.

Eh, not much worse than the farmed catfish or, even worse, shrimp. I get the disgust though. I can't imagine eating the fish I had constantly as a kid. We'd go to the abandoned strip mines that filled in with water and catch and eat the fish in there. Might explain a few things about me LOL

Well I used to eat Talapia and Cod. I think i'll go watch a youtube video on talapia. Shrimp is good, crab legs, lobster...are these fish? I like em without butter and just a lot of pepper. Tuna steak properly prepared is better than real steak. Like just seared on both sides with high heat and totally rare in the middle....yum. I live in the middle of the country and I find fish on the coasts is way way way better, I am guessing because its fresh. I probably eat Tuna steak the most. I like to go fishing and we have Bass and Crappie and those are horrible, Catfish is good but its usually fried. What isn't good fried? Like go hit up up Long John Silvers and feel like shit the rest of the day. I had sushi in Sacramento, Cali and I was like fuck this is the best ever.

Swordfish is good because the texture is so different from other fish - it's like a steak. But the mercury content is high so you shouldn't eat it multiple times per week.

I like cod and swai mixed with ground beef or steak - the combo of textures and flavors is really good.

There's also tuna, anchovies, and sardines and you can find them in water or oil if you want extra fats.

Never thought to do this - going to give it a try for sure.

If salmon is not to your liking, I always switch it up with trout, love trout, it's lighter with a fresher taste.

I know you said fish, but if you consider adding shrimp, look into Argentinian shrimp, this specific shrimp changed the seafood game for me.
