Cancer and AAS

Hey guys.

Not a newbie about the lifestyle but not so knowledgeable about AAS.

I am in the early stages of researching a cycle.
I have access to pharmaceutical grade testosterone but not t willing to jump into conclusions before doing my homework, I intend to do this cycle after my summer league finishes as I don't believe that it would be fair for the other athletes to compete against someone "spiked" and I need to use my time to learn more details about what I am jumping into.

The 1st question that I have is: how much test?
I see people saying anything from 250 to 500 for a 1st cycle and the conclusion is that maybe I should start at the lower end and if my body doesn't react as I want increase the dose, is there any way to calculate a baseline based on body weight?

The 2nd question is a bit touchy.
Is there any link between (prostate) cancer and AAS?
I have had 4 cases of cancer in my family (grandpa = lungs, uncle, = lungs, uncle = stomach, mother = breast).

The goal?

Is to help me to recover and keep muscle mass while trying to go down single digits bf.

I am 37 yo and just can't handle 5 hard weights work outs plus 5-8h of cardio a week.

Them recover and be ready next day

Thanks for your time and patience

Bro I'm not a doctor so I really don't want to say one way or another about the subject of cancer. As far as the recovery why don't you try cutting back on your workouts. Drop weight training back to 3 or 4 days a week and cut back on the amount of cardio. Last spring I started weight training only 4 days a week and love it! I feel more recuperated. You might be surprised how just a small adjustment can make a big change. How's your nutrition? That's a huge factor in recuperating.

The link between testosterone and prostate cancer has been dispelled in recent years. However if you look at most of the literature of HRT, prostate cancer or high prostate antigen scores are a contraindication to taking them.

Thanks man, would you be able to send me a link about it???

That's exactly what i am doing now. I never work out 3 days ina row and I don't rest more than 2 days in a row as well.

Cardio is not that hard (I am walking 90 a day or more).

The use of AAS is to help to be able to handle that type of hard schedule.

Being that your family has a history of cancer, I would recommend twice a year check ups, including bloodwork. That being said, I be more worried about GH, since it can make cells grow. There is tests you can get done to check for cancer cells. If you are thinking about AAS, you can get bloodwork done before and after. Also, it sounds like you are overtraining, cut back days to 3-4, see how you feel. At 37, you do not have the recovery of a 20 year old. Way too much cardio, I do 20 minutes, 3-4 times a week. Try cleaning up your diet more, this will also increase recovery. Try interval cardio, first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach.

Right now I am not doing that program it basically is: weights 4X a week, volleyall 2X and a 90 min walk 5X a week
