Clomid VS nolvadex for post cycle recovery

Just as my topic says, what do you guys think is most effective to use.
There was a big debating going on betwen Dr.evil from AR and Big Cat from bb.com about wich one is best.

I think what both sides say makes sense so from what little I have understood both should work equaly good to restore test.

If not clomid restores test production in another way then the negative feedback mechanism?? Then offcoruse it is superior to nolva.

I use clomid, as its affinity to the HPTA estro receptor is greater IMO. I may use a bit of nolv too with the HCG to avoid gyno.

Well bro I think that in real world terms we can say nolvadex and clomid are the same.

The two drugs are very similar: nolvadex is enclomiphene, whilst clomid is a mixture of enclomiphene and zuclomiphene (an isomer of enclomiphene). Now the thing is that once in the body these drugs are metabolised back and forth, enclomiphene to zuclomiphene and back again. They are also metabolised into other compounds which are even better at binding to the estrogen receptors. So basically the two end up as the same mixture of compounds when in the body. Although when first taken (before there has been much chance for the drugs to get changed around too much) nolvadex is thought to bind more strongly to breast tissue receptors whilst clomid is thought to bind more strongly to hypothalamus receptors. This is probably why nolvadex is thought of more as a gyno prevention drug, whilst clomid is thought of more as a test recovery drug.
