I've recently been struggling to find a good tricep movement that would allow for overload but not much elbow pain. I'm almost 6'2" with very long arms, so regular close grip bench was bothering me a bit and not getting the job done, I've never been comfortable on the flat bench anways.
I've done regular floor pressing before and it always felt right and really did the trick on my pecs, so I gave close grip floor press a go today, didn't go heavy today was just getting the movement down, but wow, did a few sets and the tris really got a good workout without any pains.
I highly recommond trying out this movement.
