ROS has an important role in slowing the progression down of viral replication. In contrast, the viral load can lay down a tremendous amount of ROS. By banging boatloads of antioxidants there's a potential you're tilting the balance of friendly amounts of ROS by taking larger doses of antioxidants than necessary.

I'm not suggesting not to take appropriate steps to get in sufficient amounts of food sources of antioxidants or a couple of supplements here and there. But being overly anal about munching down shit loads of antioxidants.

I just ordered Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate to add to my daily regimen)
Here I sit wondering if I should pull the trigger on:

Elderberry Syrup
Oil or Oregano drops
Monolaurin capsules
Moringa powder

Or re-introduce Astragalus.




Im currently taking this daily:
Saccharomyces Boulardii (twice daily)
Vitamin Shoppe Ultimate 10 probiotic (twice daily)
Ubiquinol/Arjuna/Pycnogenol (MPA Cardiosolve)
Life Extension Super Bio Curcumin (1-2 daily)
Jarrow B-right(1-2 daily)
Life Extension Vitamin D and K (50,000iu once weekly with a high fat meal)
Zinc Picolinate (30-50mg daily)

Jarrow Pomegard (once daily)
Boron (12mg daily)
NAC 500mg + 600mg time release(1-2x daily)
Vitamin C (500mgx2 twice daily)

That's a nice list of supplements. Those you mentioned you are considering (Elderberry Syrup, Oil or Oregano drops, Monolaurin capsules. Moringa powder) are being talked about everywhere now. I do use organic moringa year round. It's a true powerhouse.

What brand of vitamin A did you order and how much of it do you plan to take?

What brand of vitamin A did you order and how much of it do you plan to take?
Now Foods 25,000iu from retinyl palmitate. If I use it long term (more than 3 months) I'll likely downshift to 10,000iu after that time period. It will also be very interesting to see if it improves my skin and or vision since I've never taken Vitamin A outside of a "multi" which has been Animal Pak a decade or more ago. From my understanding, this was a more optimal version of Vitamin A as compared to Beta-Carotene.
 
I'd hate to attempt to list out how much I have on my shelf, and take on a daily basis.
 
Moringa is legit. I didn't know anything about this herb until one of the guy at my gym told me to add it to my smoothies. I swear this stuff energizes and puts me in a great mood.

I bought it from Sprouts. You can also get it on Amazon. I use Kuli Kuli Organic Pure Moringa. I love it.
 
If you have asthma, not recommended to take melatonin.
Natural Cationic peptide.

Cationic peptides have been found to have activity against both Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria as well as fungi, eukaryotic parasites, and viruses [3]. Most importantly, cationic peptides are effective against strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria.
 
Not OTC but I'd be willing to bet most anti-virals could potentially help. HIV meds, etc.

No, I never got into committing to using it. I was going to use it because Dante mentioned it will lower hematocrit. I believe him fully..I just did it for a couple days and then would forget to take it before sleep or when I woke up in the middle of the night. It has to be taken away from food and some other supplements - if I recall correctly. As of the last year or so..I've been less concerned about H/H in the 54-56 and 18 range than I had been in the past. This is due to the group of docs that do the trt and hormone optimization youtube channel dissecting the topic.

When I understood to monitor my platelets and ferritin and fortunately found they had always acceptable, then H/H creeping up a bit seems to be expected and not such a terrible thing.
 
It’s supposed to have anti-cancer properties. I hate some of the supplements that recommend only taking on an empty stomach
