how much weight do you normally gain on this stuff?? i just stepped on the scale today was kinda shocked. sheesh. its only been a week or so. i havent used it for about 10-12years and its was the nasty straight monohydrate that was like sand and sent me straight to the shitter, i thought it sucked and never used it again. i figured i would try it again and am using the kre-akylen or whatever.

Zero weight gain with any of it. 1-2% max strength gains.

ive used kre-alkalyn....

i LOVED it

its supposed to be absorbed better and not turn into creatinine in your body...increasing its effects and preventing its accumulation in the kidneys.

gains werent as good as i hoped...but saw a little more size...

I've been using just regular micronized creatine off and on for years. I get great gains from it at just 5 grams per day. Typically a 10-12lb weight gain over a 8-10 week period and a substantial gain in strength.

i have gained about 6 in a week or so, i am taking 5 caps which i think is around 5 grams. next week i am gonna take it postworkout with vitargo and humalog and see what happens.

Real creatine monohydrate blends instantly in water and it won't give you any shits. And it works well.
The stuff that is like chalk and gives you the runs, it's from all the crap it's cut with, regardless of what it says on the label.

is it true that like 50% of creatine monohydrate is actually absorbed and that it turns into creatinine in you system and clogs up your kidneys??

With all due respect, I disagree. Creatine monohydrate isnt very soluble in water, hence the reason we have other types (i.e. citrate, pyruvate, ethyl ester, malate etc.) Some people respond very well to monohydrate, some need to search for other alternatives.

Right, so the stuff that I have in front of me, together with a lab result from TGA that shows it to be 101% pure (the lab included their error margin) creatine monohydrate, disolves instantly as soon as it hits the water, it must not be creatine then?

These are the facts:

1. On my desk in front of me right now, I have a tub of SyntheCREATINE (micronised creatine monohydrate).
2. In my hand I have a lab result from TGA (Aust version of FDA) that tested this batch when it entered the country. The results shows it as pure creatine monohydrate.
3. When I put SyntheCREATINE in water, it disolves instantly and the water has no taste.
4. I am certain that I am not dreaming.

Stop believing all the marketing crap that most sup companies spew!

I like Phil's stuff...Its the only creatine for me now that I've seen the research on it.

I am trying Phil's creatine and was wondering if anyone has tried taking it at different times to see if they noticed a difference. I was going to start by taking 2 caps 30-60 min before workout and 2 after.
