DC while cutting

Is it doable? I am currently training FST-7 and after 3 months of it, I am getting bored out of my freaking mind. I LOVE DC and i miss it terribly :( ......Has anyone used it during a cut, or would it just wreak havoc on my CNS?
 
I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're deep into a cutting phase. I like to hit DC when I'm taking in an abundance of calories. Seems to work better that way IMO.

it depends...

I wouldn't switch to dc during a diet but if you already had been using it you can absolutely train that way while dieting. Depending on how lean you are trying to get some modifications can be made to accomodate the extra cardio and likely depleted feeling.

Rep range increases, straight sets, 3 way-6 way splits depending on cardio and recovery.

Thats what I was thinking, thanks Scott. I guess I should have said use it for gaining Lean Mass, when I am already cut to where I want to be, lol....Really just a boredom issue. I need to switch up my training and I really enjoyed DC. I'm going to play around with it and see how my body holds up after a week or 2.
 
why not. you shouldn't be getting weaker anyway. You can train hard while dieting. If you want to look good on stage, you shouldn't lift light weights, so why not. Seems very doable since your workout duration should be shorter

Thats what I was thinking.....Plus overall volume would be down as it should be while cutting, but strength and lean muscle should be going up. I'm not really cutting, pretty much done with my cut, just trying to maintain and possibly put on a little LBM for a month before a photo shoot and competition. I'm going to give it a go and possibly post a log. Thanks for input.
