diet while crusing?

so im taking a week off and im wondering how bad it would be to satisfy some cravings? i did come off of my usual diet a bit, made a beef stew last night, and am making chili tonight for dinner but damnit im craving some mcdonalds, kraft mac and cheese, tacobell, pizza, PASTA, and a bunch of other stuff. would it be that bad to indulge until i resume training on friday?
 
I wouldn't over indulge on all that junk food. However, you'll probably be fine having one cheat meal EOD during your rest week. Just remember to at least do the bare minimum for cardio.

Hmmmmmmmmm, I was actually curious about the same thing! Since the holidays are coming up quickly and I've been dieting for a little while now and have been making progress! Hopefully we'll get some good feedback!
 
When I take a week off, I actually up my calories a tad to make sure I come back completely replenished and full of the nutrients that were getting depleted. Normally, I come back + 10% in strength.
 
If you are talking about cruising as in between cycles? Then I would stick to one cheat meal only per week not a whole day but one meal. Eat plenty but clean the rest of the time. Once you resume cycle and training then just watch your body and how it responds. I would still stick to one cheat meal a week unless prepping for a show or something. Once you cycle down your training and gear your body will not require as many calories to support activity. Since it will be significantly lower. If we are onlytaling about a week off from training then reduce your carbs slightly and maintain a high protein intake. But one thing for sure, you eat all that junk on your list and you are going to gain some fat even in one week!
 
lol that week has come and gone as of now, i ate a slice of pizza, tacobell(you dont want ot know how much) and pasta. everythihg is fine now except that i now hate my diet food even more...lol
