This guy risks his life to get a low life piece of shit scum rapist in prison where he belongs so he can be now be raped and they want to put dog in prison for it. I don't think anything particularly nefarious is going on. Dog overstepped his bounds and broke Mexican law in reference to bounty hunting. What is the US going to do? Tell Mexico that Dog is too important to our country for us to comply with their law? That wouldn't look good for us and right now we could use everyone on our side even if it's little ol' Mexico. Dog should have just drilled the guy through the head and never said a word. Anyway, maybe he will get a haircut and lose all the oddball accessories for his court appearance.

Yeah. Dog was released on $300k bail. His wife is the one who brought all of this to the media's attention. Supposedly, its just a misdemeanor in Mexico to do this and Dog knew that he was going to have to return for his court date but never did. He was released from Mexican jail and then fled the country. A person that I know "of" was in prison down in Mexico for a number of years for screwing over some Mexican business partners. He escaped, I was told, and has lived here happily in the US without any troubles for the past 15+ years.

But Mexico has done it to us in the past with cop killers. Since we have the death penalty, they won't extradite these criminals who have killed American cops. Supposedly, this is changing, as evidenced below.

Well, they (Dog's passe) made a few phone calls BEFORE he went down to Mexico to grab Mr. MaxFactor aire and they were told that it was not lawful to do what they were about to do; HOWEVER, it was very unlikely that anything would be done about it. You hit the nail right on the head Scorpiogirl. Think about what this peice of garbage would still be doing if he was free on the run...raping more innocent wives and daughters. From what I understand this guy had a "hit" list of who was next. I have faith the Dog will come out of this alright after it's all said and done.

excuse my rant, i'm just still a little pissed from earlier this evening. i went in to pick up some parts that my wife paid for on thursday last week. it was auto zone, when i went in there was mexican music playing throughout the store, the employee was mexican and speeking it to a mexican customer. when i did get waited on the girl had a lolipop in her mouth while she spoke. she brought only some of the items that were paid for and i had to inquire about the other item (water pump$60). she said that it didn't look like it had been ordered, i said "it was a week ago", she said "I see that sir" then she went off to a different area and came back with the water pump. I then asked for their card that gets a stamp for every $20 spent in english and after i think its $100 you get to a certain amount of store credit to buy stuff.(the only ones i saw were in spanish). I told her my wife did not get one when she paid for the parts last week (over $350). She showed me on the reciept that my wife did get a card and it was stamped. I bitched a little and moaned a little and told her that was pretty crappy and left. She didn't really give a damn, my wife did not get a card and it did not get stamped, so that's the story of why I'm a little pissed off with Mexico and some of it's people. And I do lawn care and we have six guys whom I like, so I'm not prejudice.

Like Dog, alot people think they can go over to Mexico, piss on their streets in public,treat their people like shit, and think they are doing Mexico a huge favor by spending some money there. Mexico has laws and rules just like any other country that have to be abided by, Dog not only broke Mexico's laws but also disrespected Mexico by fleeing back to the U.S.. Many people always put down Mexico for supposedly being so dirty and corrupt but that sure doesn't stop millions of tourists on going there to get their rx drugs and yes..steroids included as well as sex and cheap booze. Mexico in the last few years has been cooperating with the U.S. in extraditing the biggest drug lords in history so when Mexico asks to extradite a "Dog" then the U.S. should have no problem helping out. Dog should be setting the example not breaking it.

Please do remember that my suggestion (tongue in cheek)was for Dog to shoot the guy as I have no sympathy for a rapist. My only point is that due to the media attention, which Dog seems to have brought on himself, it would be quite difficult to openly defy legal protocol that mandates his extradition. What can you do? I have no problem with him not returning but when you turn yourself into a high profile person it is not so easy to operate under the radar. Many countries who oppose the death penality also will not extadite I.E. France which I disagree with. I love the U.S. but the notion that we can use our power to inflict our will carte blanche on other sovereign nations will not fly. It is much easier said than done. We are getting an unfortunate example via Iraq though I support the troops unequivocally.
