Drawing needle re-use?

Can the needles you use to draw out of vials be re-used if properly maintained? Say if you wiped with alcohol and then ran alcohol through it after use...?

you are taking a sterile pin and putting into a sterile substance. i reuse the draw all the time honestly

As long as you keep it capped, and swipe with alcohol before/after using, I don't see a problem with it..

well i draw with an 18 not like i have tons of 18s sitting around the house lol doesnt really matter what i draw my gear with as long as the pin that goes in is brand new

I agree here.. for the longest time i kept switching out the draw needle everytime.. but then as of lately i just been using the same needle to draw with.. wipe down before use and after.. put in a ziplock with cap on.. been workin good for me!!

Ive seen alot of folks do this,,,and I myself have as well,,,just be cautious and sterile as possible. If you can afford it purchase a new box and it least change it every 3-4 injections. they sometimes dull and cause rubber at the stopper to rip.

For me theres two good reasons not to reuse a pin first one is infection , second they dull very easily , and make pinning after the first use uncomfortable , just my 2cents.

going threw the vile REALLY dulls that tip. trust me ALOT more then you think. i did that 2 shots ago by mistake i thought i had already changed the needle and when i was pinning i was thinkign to my self"shit i think im starting to get scaretissue build up?" this is HARD to push threw and the shot hurt more also. then after done i looked at the unopened needletip and thoght FUK! no wonder it was hard to pin.

I use a new tip EVERY time.

now you could reuse it if all is kept steril but o would rec you use a new one each time.

I think he means drawing the liquid out and then swapping a new pin onto the hub. I re-use the same pin ONLY to draw out the oil and then switch to a brand new one for poking myself. I also swab the stopper on the vial and the pin each time. Just my own thing.

i am very stupid and have been stupid for a long time with no infection. i see Geico cash stack when I reuse slin pins that i shoot peps with 3 times a day, then there is slin sometimes then there is hcg sometimes and then sometimes there is SEO which i have dropped for now,,,,if you are shooting once a week then yeah switch tips but if you are a pin cushion shit will add up fast. call me Simple Jack.

BUMP thats exacly what i do also! ill swab say my vile of test and vile of deca and use one pin to draw out the test and deca then swich pin and poke.
