I used the search button before I came to ask yall for advice. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for a good cut diet for an endo. I'm 31 yrs old approximately 235lbs at 5'10 with high body fat. I have been training for years and have had my share of injuries. Right now I'm trying to get back into the game from a bad case of sciatica. I've been doing a lot of reading while I've had some down time. My goal is to eventually do a local bodybuilding show in the future. I'm realistic though folks I'm not trying to be someone else. I just want to be the the best me. Right now my goal is to get down to a decent body fat level say 10-12 % and maintain that conditioning. Then I can work on the fine details of what weaknesses I need to bring up. I'm not trying to accomplish this over night and I know this will take some time and dedication.

Thanks for the help,

IMO carb cycling is your best bet. Depending on how high your bodyfat is now though, you might be able to make great progress by just cleaning up your diet and focusing on a few simple tenets:
- get protein in with every meal
- focus your carbohydrate intake around your first meal, and your post workout meal
- keep fat intake to a minimum, but don't be afraid of healthy fats (fish oils, nut butters, olive oil, etc.

Also try to do some cardiovascular activity (start with 20-30 minutes per session) at least a few times a week, in the morning on an empty stomach.

!berserker,
I was planning on 5 days of cardio on an empty stomach at 30 minutes. I agree with you I should be able to make some good progress just by cleaning up the diet. Past experience has shown this is a must for me in leaning down.

I've read several carb cycling variations. Can you suggest the basics of what you would have in mind? The carb cycling diet I'm most familar was posted on diffeerent boards by Twin Peak.

I was wondering if I carb cycled if that would f-up my blood sugar. In the past I've had good results on low carb / keto type diets Ie; Body Opus / Anabolic Diet
