endurance question

im not new to performance enhancing drugs. but i have a question about halotestin. ive googled and searched for my answer and cant find what i need. i want to try halo for short cycle of one to two weeks. reason for an endurance based event road bike cycle race. i know the epo levels rise with use of halo and thats great for higher VO2 max. but want the mental aggressive hyper drive it gives. i want to do it this way take 2.5 mg tablet daily that would be non training days to keep it active in my body. then take 10 mg on days i ride and train. and a day or two before my event take 20 mg a day. now the question is this will taking 2.5mg a day be enough to keep it active until training days or event day where i use more be enough? now im not looking for weight lifting strength or power im only using for the endurance reasons guys give me your tthoughts please. thanks

Halo is also known for blood pressure increase and liver stress. Not a great endurance enhancer IMO!!
 
The only thing Halo might do is help you recover faster from training. That's with steady consistent use, a cycle. I should explain I was a darn good middle distance runner up through college (sub 1:50 800 meters is all I'll say) and back in the day some very good guys were trying different things, the 'anabolics' ended up helping recovery more than anything (for some reason var seemed very good for this, at least for some guys). You want to increase your VO2 max in short order hit the hills or get some EPO. No, they didn't have EPO back when I was running. I can tell you from some time I spent coaching the use of that drug is actually higher among third world athletes, at least when it comes to track. If you watch TV you'd swear it's only cyclists in the Tour de France. It boils down to being able to avoid spot tests and some politics that go on behind closed doors. No not all guys are doped in running. But it's probably headed that way :rolleyes:. Seriously, don't use Halo for this. My two cents. Someone with more specific knowledge about Halo might want to chime in.
