Energy Drinks

Just curious to see how many people take a pre-workout energy drink. I actually have a diet turbo tea about 20 minutes before I head to the gym. What does everyone else drink?

I usually dont have anything but I have just started drinking them before workouts and I like the little umph it gives me, especially since I train first thing in the am. I have a bunch of them that I got from the Olympia expo lying around so I figure I might as well use them. I think there called Piranha by EAS. The thing I am worried about is making it a habbit and having to have some sort of stimulant before I lift.

If i workout before 7, then 10g of glutamine in cranberry juice, or an energy drink. If i take anything after 7 i can't sleep.

If after seven, then nothing.

I'm always looking for short acting natural stimulants, i used to have a really bad caffiene addiction, so i try to stay away from it where possible.

Pre-w/out is 400ml water mixed with liquid beef aminos, followed by 2.5-3liters of water while training. You will not need anything else........if you don't believe me try it!! You will not believe your workout!!

I tried this and it totally sucked for me! my friend is very good friends with Miss Met-RX 2006&2007, Lauren Jones, and he gets a ton of free shit from her. All their products have went to shit in the past few years...such a shame.

Really, wow, I like em. I used to use the NOS extreme, but now switched the the pre-made metrx amp'd drinks b/c they still have the same 200mg caffine but a higher no2 blend than the extreme NOS

I usually pop 3 caps of horney goat weed about 30 mins before I work out. It doesn't do a damn thing for your sex life like it claims but I have found that when I pop 3 before I work out my head (on my shoulders) and mind is very clear. I can't explain it. Call it a crock or whatever but for me, it makes me think very clear and thats what I need to get past my workouts. While working out I have nothing more then water.
