EQ and hair loss

For the most part...all of the research i have seen says that EQ is very mild ont the hair. However, just recently i have talked to some people that said it wa absolutely horrid on their hair...one guy said all his hair fell out in 4 wks.! My question is, what would be the best preventative measure...finasteride or topical anti-andrgoens like spiro and nizoral? I am guessing since it is highly anabolic and low on the androgen side that finasteride would be the right choice...but supposedly there is very low DHT conversion so I'm confused...

I didn't get any hairloss on EQ. I do see more hair in my hands when I am taking a higher dose of Test. I will now only do low dose Test with any stack. I am guessing that the people you talked to stacked EQ with other stuff too? The culprit could be something else.

Everyone reacts differently. For example, my libido goes up on Deca but goes down on Test. Figure that one out!

if your prone to hair loss you cant win. EQ is usually one of the milder AAS on hairline from my experiences.

I have never had any additional hair loss from EQ. Just finished my third cycle of Test E and EQ with no trouble. It doesn't convert to DHT so I can't see why it would be an issue for hair loss.

I lose libido on test as well, when I finish the cycle it's back...

YEP.. anything over about 400 of test and i have the limp noodle.. i dont suffer from any other estro problems.. except, i do feel like i gain more adipose from test.. which , of course, can be estro related.. so i now would only do 300 or at most maybe 400 of test and the rest eq or deca ect..

boldenone does interact with the 5ar in the scalp, and unfortuantely, finasteride/propecia wont do anything to negate any of the impact on the hairline. But you can use topical anti androgen solutions that would help with the hair. Also, on a quirky side note, if you take finasteride will taking eq, you are making the boldenone undergo 5-alpha reduction and you end up with.... 1-test!

what? i have been taking propecia for years now so what you are telling me is that i am not taking EQ? Will i not get the effects of EQ? vascularity, strength?

well, no, but you are getting the benefits of 1test or dihydroboldenone, just as good. Personally, I think 1 test cyp > eq.

well, structurally, eq and 1-test are almost identical, except 1-test is the 5ar reduced version of eq. thats all.

Sorry if he's taking a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor how is the boldenone going to convert to dihydroboldenone?? Finasteride will inhibit this conversion I think you've got it backwards.

But...not 100% of the Boldenone will undergo reduction. It has low affinity for the 5A reductase. I can't site it, but I remember seeing somewhere that maybe 15% would be reduced. But with less Test being converted to DHT (if taking finasteride or dutasteride) could more Boldenone be reduced than normal? Hell, does anyone know?

I was taking EQ @ 600mg wk with Test E @ 500mg wk for 16 weeks and using .5mg Dutasteride EOD. I did not seem to have the normal amount of EQ vascularity. I was smoother than normal too. I still take the Dutasteride now, but with 500mg Test E and 30mg of Anavar. I am much more vascular and hard now without the EQ. Interesting.

smoother as in not very hardened muscles? and no vascularity? man this sucks! Alin said it right...if you are proned to hair loss you just cant win...you sure can go out with a fight though!!!

P.S. how did the EQ effect your hair?

Hair looks like shit! Not bald by any stretch, just diffuse thinning. Fortunately I started with super thick hair and it stayed that way untill I was 32. In the last 3 years, I would say I have lost 40-50% density, but my hairline is stii nearly the same and no "bald" areas.

Well, I never shed hair at all before on EQ or Test or anything, so it's hard to say that EQ caused it. I believe that it may have been harsher than normal. I just don't know for sure.

OK I think someone corrected this but just to clear it up. Fina/dutasteride WILL work with EQ. It will prevent it from converting to dihydroboldenone which is also known as 1-test, which is very anabolic and fairly androgenic
