I have read some correlations to Estrogen levels in men, and storage of fat. I have also seen some studies on women correlating estrogen levels and eating disorders. Though is all the reading, there is some mixed info, and of course not each study would fit what I am questioning.
I am a person who gets very very odd and extreme food cravings. It is annoying, and at times they get the best of me. They come in cycles, and are very inconsistent. I have always tried to figure out what these cravings were, why they were happening, and how to avoid them.
With these craving, came the urge to eat alot, and really when eating, I would never feel full, and would want to eat more till they passed.
That being said, I started monitoring myself a few years ago with these cravings. I noticed that at times I would get sensitivity in my nipples. I tried to mentally document these feelings to see if they repeated themselves.
They did repeat themselves, but I did find that I may get sensitivity at other times too.
Then I had noticed a few years back, that if I gave in on eating (no matte what or how much), my chest would swell. I noticed a definite increase in "breast" size. This was not permanent, but it was noticeable. Since at the time I wasn't looking for any signs of this, I brushed it off. Well through today, I notice that this happens every time. It's very odd, but if there is an eating urge, and I give in, I will get some swelling in my chest.
Is it possible, that estrogen spikes or estrogen in general could be the culprit or one of the culprits involved?
Just a thought, and I wanted to see if anyone had any insight.
