Last time I visited Scandinavia I was sketched out and half expecting issues. Fortunately just got a lot of stares from the locals and police but nothing else. It was when I wasn’t on anything after my kidney shit so they would’ve been disappointed but ya felt fuckin weird. Like everyone there is staunchly opposed to roids and people that look like they’re on ‘em

I wonder if there's a list somewhere of countries that do this. I'm sure as fuck going to avoid any destinations that can muscle profile you. Im only pulling up Sweden when I search, but maybe Im not using the right search terms.

When someone asks me if I use steroids I tell them I don't even workout, I'm just Samoan.

Usually they think for a little... mutter something about The Rock, and go away.

One day a dude stumped me. "You say you don't even workout, but why are you curling that weight right now?!"

I told him my arms were too big and I couldn't wipe my ass anymore. I saw he had tiny muscles and was curling, so wanted to copy his routine.

Generally if you can say this stuff with a totally straight face they will never bother you again.

PEDs have been getting more and more liberalized in USA and China. China we can now buy hgh right on our amazon equivalent, Taobao. About 20% of the male gymgoers who have visible muscle at a commercial gym are on PEDs here. Chinese love the test+deca+tren combo because that's what Milos puts most of his clients on and most bbing coaching knowledge in China is from Milos when he was coming over here and coaching Lu Chenhui and his crew in Xuzhou pre-covid. It's funny to here these 5'10 200lbs 20% bodyfat fat but muscular guys describing their cycles of 750 test, 600 deca, 250 tren ace per week with insulin pre and post and some dbol thrown in there.

I haven't been to Norway, but I'm frequently in Sweden and Denmark, since I live southwards of the border. Both Countries have a similar gym culture. There still are your normal gymbro gyms where a lot of the guys are on gear. Just not in the more normal, gen pop gym chains. It is not a secret which Gyms are going to make a stink about AAS, and which Gyms are open about it.

Most of Europe doesn't care. Some countries a personal supply is legal. In Romania, you need a prescription, but no one cares. It is pretty open here. The only thing they would care, if you are selling on a large scale and that is only because you are taking money out of the government's pocket.

I agree, his stance is admirable but he self snitched and with the law there he’s lucky gym explulsion was the end of it. I don’t admit shit on SM. I don’t care how obvious it is visibly saying it puts pressure on LE it’s best just to do ur thing and stay silent.

Aren’t those countries pretty loose on weed and magic truffles too? Only to crack down on gear. Sweden had a free heroin clinic I assume still exists at tax payer cost. It supposedly helped dramatically but still the hypocrisy of it all.

Its a shame how it is in the scandinavian countries, but what can we as bodybuilders do? except for acting like an upstanding, well functioning human.

Theres still people getting stopped, harrased and raided by cops because they look like they juice, its ridiculous. They are making criminals of people that just want to go to the gym and improve themselves.

They all think steroids cause aggression, irratic behaviour, apathy, violence and that you're a lazy cheater that tries to get away from hard work and discipline. Most people think you run a 12 week cycle and blow up to be ronnie coleman.

If you listen to some of the antidoping speakers, they even claim that the reason that steroids became illegal for personal use back in 2013 is because they believe it was one of the contributors that made anders behring breivik, the terrorist that executed a massmurder of over 60 people in 2011 in norway, capable to execute such a horrible act. So you can tell how misinformed and deluded these people are when it comes to steroids and PEDs in general.


Dont get me started on the health sector and how they treat steroid users. They usually blame every issue you have on your steroid use and leave you hanging. You try to explain to them that you are focusing on harm reduction through getting checkups and bloodwork, but they look at that as supporting the "abuse/addiction" so they dont do much outside of the yearly checkup you are privileged to once a year.

But from the job perspective, I would get axed too if I spoke openly about my gear use 1000%. I work is a decently high profile job and if my social media or side gig persona talked illegal gear use…fired no doubt about it.

Jubilee has tried to cast me in several of there videos over the past year. And each time I have passed because they had made gear talk a big part. I told them I’m down to discuss training, nutrition, size, confidence, etc and each time they’ve come right back with, “and any super supplement use right?”
If my jobbb was being a ft bber or IG guy, then maybe. But I make 100% of my income in a corporate job. Not gonna fuck that one up. Eric Janicki ended up fillin the spot here.

I could care less if good people knew who I was, i've met a few dozen from the forums over the years, but these forums also have a lot of jackasses on them. It comes with the territory on even the best forums, there are always rotten apples. I'm sure rajjin has had the same thing happen to him here, but after being a mod on the forums for over 20+ years, i've had countless banned members get butt hurt and state all sorts of threats to me if they found out who I was....ranging anywhere from beating my ass, setting my house on fire, fucking with my family, and sending narcotics in the mail to my address in loosely wrapped envelopes to get confiscated. I've had a handful of sources say the same. Heck, Phil Hernon threatened that if he found out my name and address, he was going to send hot packages to my address, etc. Confidentiality isn't just from LE, it's from whackjobs who get their feelings hurt. Back 20 years ago, there were Mod friends of mine who were on some of the larger forums at the time who had LE visits and were followed and questioned, just for being on a forum that discussed gear. I'm not a source so I have nothing to worry about. Things are much more loose these days, but that can all turn around in a second.

Anyway, it sucks that using AAS has to be vilified for responsible users, especially in some countries (or states) where they have no problem giving puberty blockers to children, or hormones to those who make-believe/identify as an opposite sex, and it's all accepted and praised....yet a man can't be....more manly with muscles and for even health without it being frowned upon.

Sorry this happened to the OP, it's ridiculous. All I can say is just more careful on who you let know what goes on in your personal life.

at the other end of the planet, south america. it seems pretty normal for gym owners to do injections for gym goers who dont even know enough as to inject themselves yet,in the gym bathroom. talk of gear and basically open sales are common. you used to be able to get stuff in the pharmacy pretty easily but a lot was not high quality, some was. zero pressure on the subject. depends on the country but some have totally open sales like otc in the farmacy, ive seen supplement stores in shopping malls that sell them openly too.

Hi guys! What is the culture in your country like regarding PED's?
I have always been open and honest on my social media when it comes to drugs, even though it is illegal for personal use here in Norway. I don't want to give my followers false expectations, and try and create less taboo around it, as there are clearly many who use it and fake nattys.
Long story short - the owner of the gym I worked out at always knew I use, it's very visible but never a problem because I behave myself and don't talk about it in the gym.
But, just over 3 months ago, a journalist wanted to make a big news story about why I am allowed to train at the gym, when I use and am honest about steroids etc.
So then the training centers saw no other solution than to expel me. Was pressured by a journalist, so would have been bad regardless of which side. I personally don't care about it, it's fine. It became a big article for all of Norway to see, but it's just noise and doesn't take anything personally.

Yep, Scandinavia is terrible in regards to their views on steroids. Any one of us here could be randomly stopped and detained for suspected steroid use just based on looks. Pretty crazy how seriously they take it. I would advise most serious bodybuilders to avoid travel there. I know a guy who was detained and piss tested while visiting Swede

from watching strongman used to think they were macho and super manly. quite the opposite.
