I was just reading a thread about this a day or two ago on here. Should be an easy find and should have all your answers.

1.3 is the upper limit of the normal range; typically a bodybuilder with more muscle mass will sit at the upper range. Mine is 1.3 and I am not concerned, at least not yet.

Last physical I had, the doctor told me my kidneys' activity was at high normal, and was supposedly due to my protein and creatine intake. However, this same doctor measured me at 5'7" (I'm 5'9.5") and told me that, as far as avoiding STDs goes, stay away from gays and prostitutes and I'd be okay.

How much water are you drinking? Can increasing water intake help relieve your kidneys?

...who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Seriously. Kidney failure at 1.3? Normal creatinine values are 1.2, so 1.3 is a SLIGHTLY elevated.

My own creatinine runs at around 1.3, at least according to my last tests. My doc refered me to a nephrologist who was hardly even concerend about it. He looked at me and said it is due to carrying excessive muscle mass. He did a cyostatin C test, and sure enough, my kidney values were smack in the middle of normal range.

There are a lot of recent threads about this subject. People need to quit panicing and go and see a nephrologist if there are kidney concerns, not a GP.
