I used up a 5+ year old 10kg tub my brother handed over to me and didn't get sick or have any issues. But I probably wouldn't recommend using it after a couple years.

Because its dried powder,, it can last a very long time after best buy date. It will probably lose potency as time passes after that date... so you just use more to get the same dose.

It's so processed, it's good for years. It sits on the shelf so long anyhow. An extra few months past the exp date can't be bad

There is no such thing as "expired" protein powder, as long as stored dry.

If it's stored in ideal conditions like a dark cupboard or pantry (imagine most people do) in normal house temperatures, you'll be fine for years after the date.

All packaged consumable items are required to have an expiration date posted, though most non perishable items will last years after the dates listed on them.

I wouldn't worry about it.
