I was just wondering which fish oil supplements everyone was using and where you're getting it from. Plus, did you see any changes when you started taking it? Thanks.

Oh...you won't really see any changes once you start taking them, it's a very gradual thing.

But they have helped me stay lean.

Make sure that you get a product that is molecularly distilled...this insures no harmful toxins or chemicals. I use Rx Omega3 Factors from Natural Factors. It has 400mg EPA/200mg DHA per softgel. Also, Nordic Naturals & Carlson both have very good fish oil supplements.

Wow..those are really good caps that contain that much epa/dha per cap.

Just look for a privately owned health food store.....stay away from the GNC's & Vitamin World's, they're a waste of time & money

YOu might want to do a search on one of Phil Hernon's threads. He had some startling (bad) blood test results from taking too many fish oil tabs.

Yes, my nephrologist told me tha taking too many tabs will make the kidneys swell and you will lose protein in the urine. Now thi samount varies in each individual, but I was taking 15 capsules per day at 400mg EPA and 200mg DHA per cap. I use Dr. Sears Fish oils. I wonder how they harvest the oil from fish. Do they squeeze the fish together like they do olives?

I dont know too much about this. I take 1-2 tablespoons flax seed with tuna a day (28g fat). Now, do fish oils basicly contain the same essential fatty acids as flax oils? The numbers you were giving for types was like less than a gram though! When you get fish oil tabs (or the flax for that matter) are you popping like 20 of them at a time??

worked for me when i was dieting last summer with no problems. you have any testing that proves its garbage. really dont care to defend it because its the only thing i use by them, but what makes other fish oil better than the next
