A lot of us old timers have been here for quite some time.... many on this forum have been together for over 15-20 years....

many of the guys here started on forums no longer here.... but this forum might just peek some guys interest..

for the over 40 guys.. remember this..? was looking on the wayback machine today and came across this little nugget!

my how the internet has changed before our eyes... this look downright prehistoric by todays standards.... yet ... i find myself wishing these days were still here.... the old cold fusion type forums... such good times... wild west of the internet.

That’s really cool to see buddy, thanks for sharing it. Even though I wasn’t around then, it’s still really cool to see some of the history here. I love that kind of stuff lol. I’m old fashioned I guess lol.

My first board was the original UG board, I believe the original Anabolex and Renegade followed shortly after, I was active on all 3 at one point …this had to have been mid-late 90’s. The boards were a big step from the MM2K mags and Duchaines underground steroid handbook for me…my screen name was actually the password for one of the first UG board sources…

I was one of the first guys on chads forum and i was a main contributor to his steroid section back in 2002-05... tom prince flame wars were legendary.

muscle mayhem was such a great name for a forum... too bad chad didnt do anything with it....

Bolex started either Dec 96 or 97, same with UG Supplements. They came about a year after both Mesomorphasis and EliteFitness.

Does anyone here remember using AOL dial-up as the main pathway to connect to the internet, and then using Netscape Navigator as the internet browser? There were some kind of chat windows / chat groups? Where guys would discuss gear and training? I cannot recall what application that was based on. I just remember that's where I initially hear of "19-nor" lol and when my dad caught me using that he thought it was some kind of porn bullshit lol. I just wanted to be jacked.

That shit was so annoying. You could tell by the sounds of it loading if you got a good connection speed. If it was off, i'd just reload and wait again rather than deal with super slow pages loaded with every click, lol.
