For those with prostate troubles on-cycle, does the irritation go away when off?

I just was diagnosed with BPH... it has been a battle trying to figure out if it was prostatitis or BPH... I haven't taken an extended period (say, 6 months) off gear for awhile. For those of you with similar issues, does the swelling/size regress with ample time away from hormones? I was given Avodart, but I dont want to take it yet... have been going the natural route, but not much success considering that I am on test (and now coming off).

Hey Bro, I'm 57 years old and have been experiencing prostate problems the last four years. I'm sure alot to do with my age, but symptoms definitely increase while on. I was on Flomax for a while. Seemed to help a little bit. I do notice a slight cessation in symptoms when I clean up for a while. But since I've decided to blast and cruise, not sure what to do. He said the way he got rid of the problem was to stick his finger in his ass and push on the prostate until some fluid came out. i would definitely start the avodart plus 10mgs nolvadex, and either 25mgs of exemetane or 2.5mgs letrozole, go off the test, but you will probably experience a lack of sex drive for a few weeks and gyno brought about by lack of test and the avodart, that is why you should use the estrogen control meds mentioned above!

That is called "milking" the prostate and urologist do it all the time.Fun job huh? that shouldnt be a constant treatment though, as they do it to analyze discharge and for some relief.PSA and estro levels needs to be checked etc..

I also forgot to mention the prostate can also become swollen and infected requiring a course of antibiotics.that is one of the things they check for in the discharge.

The problem is that I am barely 30 and have rarely ever used more than 1g TOTAL per week.

I've already taken one round of antibiotic and it helped for awhile, but they have been known to do this even when bacteria isn't the cause. From the rectal exam he is pretty certain that it is BPH... BPH feels different than cancer or infection. I am currently on another round of Cipro just in case, Mobic (prescription NSAID), and not yet started Avodart... he wanted to attack it from all angles he said.

But what I am wondering is I consistently read things like "masteron aggravates my prostate" ...well what happens when you guys stop the masteron? I can;t tell yo how many times I've read things where guys talk about having swelling prostates or aggravated prostates during cycle... I want to know from these guys, does it go away and how long does i take?

You can have any number of symptoms... or no symptoms. The only way to know is a finger up the ass for BPH. Prostatitis will let you know on its own... you'll have some kind of disomfort most likely.

My personal symptoms include a stinging or burning in the prostate area, and it is directly linke to the amount of sexual activity that I have. The urologist told me not to have sex for a month... lol.

37 and been getting some discomfort. Ironically ive been taking Aromasin at 12.5 a day and upped it to 25 for some slight gyno sensations. Ironically, it felt worse (prostate). SO I stopped taking the AI. From what I have read it seems that should have the opposite effect.

Last physcial examine I had (4 months ago) the doc said my prostate didn't appear large...so...Im a little concerned as to what could be pissing ;-) it off. I was only running 500mg week of test. Ironically when I switched sponsors I seemed to have an issue. Both board sponsors, Both getting good reviews from people...libido has now been effected...and it sux cause I met a girl who's a trainer that has a rocking body...and she wants it! However...my buddy down there hasn't been as cooperative lately. It's never been a problem til now.

My brain is cramped tyring to find a regiment to come off and regain my sex drive.

Hard to explain. It seems like an off and on discomort. Sometimes I'll have it for awhile and then it will go away for a bit. Maybe I could describe it as a Duller discomfort that has a slight throb. IDK...having a hard time putting into words what it feels like. It's not pain..its a discomfort. Maybe a pressure might be a better term...Sorry I can't articulate better.

sounds like you are experiencing anxiety, relax and try cialis! when i have issues i take 15-30mgs of cialis and then i know i will not disappoint, don't use it every day though.
