Can gear cause sterility?? If so, what are the chances of this happening?

I am mainly referring to someone who uses low doses (1g or less per week TOTAL with long "cruise" periods of HRT doses) but stays on for long periods of time with the periodic use of HCG as well.

How probable is it to become sterile if cycling in a manner such as this? Anyone really know?

I have always thought about this, but then again you hear of guys getting their wives/girlfriends pregnant all the itme while deep into a heavy cycle.

I really did beleive it was not possible after being on so long without a break, but we are both looking foward to out first baby come March. Witch should be fun as my next competition is in March. So it should be a very special month for me when I win my Class at my competition and become the proudest father in the word.

Now before a bunch of people jump in here and say "I had kids on a cycle so that's bullshit" remember it's a matter of statistics... there will always be people out there that beat the odds.

I went off for about 6 years and no... I'm not producing sperm. Out of three wives all as fertile as the Napa Valley... no kids. When a person decides to use HRT, one has to rate the pro's and con's... what's important to a person? kids or alot of muscle? Hell if anything, it saved me from the surgery of having my nuts cut.

Yes 13 weeks pregnant and the best part is a Doctor told my girl when she was a teen she would not be able to have babies. Now as I said I have a competition in March and after that we had planed on me coming off and me getting feritily treatment like big Hinze did and then try to sort my girlfriend out, we were prepaird to do whatever it took. So me being me kept banging away with not a worry about getting her pregant. When she got the results back from the doctors I was shocked after all I had read about AS and sterility. Everyone I told was over the moon. Now a few hardcore guys that be on boards like this responses were qoute "HOW DID YOU DO THAT" and at one point during a parnoid episoded I accused my girl of cheating. With great distress to my fiance. This girl literly worships the ground I walk on and would never ever do anything like that to hurt me. Now I have spoke to Doctors and the midwife about our situition and all have said there has been people told over and over again they will not have children and then on day it happens. Now in regards to HRT or TRT that is what I was doing only with a higher dose when we concived. I was also on clomid witch I read is precribed to men on HRT to help them father a child. Either way I might have defyed science I dont know but it has happened and we are both very happy.

There is a negative feed back loop, here is an example if someone uses cocaine this will temporarily shut down dopamine production (dopamine is resposible for good feelings happiness sex etc) the cocaine replaces the dopamine at the nerve receptors.if you start doing cocaine regularly the body will signal the need for less dopamine to be produced (the same as when you take test etc the body signals to reduce the natural production of test).When the person stops the cocaine the body signals their is not enough dopamine and starts producing it again(same as with steroids).Here is the point at some point in cocaine use and it is dose and time related the body has signalled that it does not need dopamine anymore for too long and loses the ability to make it.The same with test at some point in use the body may reach that point and lose the ability to produce natural test and they will be infertile.The variables are dose and time and depending on the person it could be anything any time its a bit of a gamble.

It is actually quite frightening IMO simply b/c of the fact that I plan/hope to have a family of my own one day. If people have any experience with this topic, but just don't want to openly share, I would even appreciate a PM or something...all info. shared would be confidential of course. I have been all over doing research on this very topic.

What we had planed to to before my g/f fell pregnant was for me to come off for as long as it took to get the sperm swimming. Then we agreed to try naturaly for 1 year and if it happened it happened. If not I was going to get my sperm frozen and put in a sperm bank for later use. This is what I will do in the near future to give my little one a little brother or sister. My advice to you bro is get them swimming and store some in the sperm bank it will cost you but IMO worth every penny so you have somthing to fall back on if it dose not happen naturaly.

Honestly for all I know I was born this way... who knows, but the Dr says he believes it was hormone use and the Dr that put me on it said it would happen. I should go in and be examined to find out exactly why, but as I've said, out of 3 wives, no kids with a combined marriage of 15 yrs and 42 women after the 2nd wife in nine mo's after the divorce.
