Glucose meter recommendations?

Hi all.

Can anyone recommend a good blood glucose meter/tester?

I'd like something professional grade, if they vary much. Quality, durability, and accuracy are important. Preferably off Amazon, if possible.

I want to start testing my blood sugar throughout the day, just to see how my meals, various peptides, and metformin affects it.

What is a good healthy range to shoot for as a bodybuilder?
How low is too low?
How high is too high?

Thanks :lightbulb:

I have Reli-on from Walmart and it works just fine.

Fasted should be roughly 70 to 99.

relion from walmart for sure, test strips are significantly cheaper than any other brand.

I use relion as well. Dont ever let you bs get over 100 and as far as what's to low? I don't really know but I'll get mine into the low 60's.

Like everyone else said , the Reli-on is great
I used my wife's $100 meter (home health RN) and it's no better than the Reli-on and the strips are WAY WAY cheaper which is a huge factor since they are consumable

I like my Freestyle meter which was recommended by my doc as being more accurate. Strips are way cheaper than Reli-on's.

I like the contour. Cheap, easy to use, and seems accurate based on bloodwork.

Freestyle/contour test strips are $.50 each, reli-on test strips are $.20 each, easy.
