Yeah i read about that. Rumor has it that they were trying to outstage the olympia and weider wanted nothing of it, so he rasied the sanction fee which forced them to drop the prize money. Its all about weider and his grip on the IFBB. He doesn't want anybody outdoing him. Same thing happened to the NOC. Since Demilla is out of the IFBB, the NOC is dead. No NOC for us this year. They are going to have to find a new promoter from the rumors over on muscle mayhem.
The best thing that could happen is a new federation is formed to rival the IFBB. That doesn't have the ruthless antics that thw eider machine has on the IFBB. Make all of the top ametuer shows qualifiers for both federations and then the athlete can choose which he wants to sign with, the IFBB or the other. If the other federation had different rules, more proze money etc, you would see all the athletes jump ship and weider would be left in the dust. Only Ronnie would stick around. LOL!!! But seriously Weider is killingh the soprt and somebody needs to step up and rival the IFBB. For the sake of the sport itself.
