I am scheduled to hit the desert. looks like those blackwater guys got into enough trouble that they are pulling them out and sending in the real contractors. location and length of stay has been hush-hush. I highly doubt I will have any internet access and because of security, everything will be monitored anyway. Finally I am going to do something in addition to playing with computers all day.

just found out that receiving domestic and international mail will not be a problem, but many items are inspected. I know "legal" gear like epistane works (since I used it) and since I order this now from mass nutrition, shipping is 100% and very quick. but are there any other that are good?
I heard about the following

as long as I order from a major supplement distributer that is legit I will be fine. I have been told that even ordering supps via ebay would be risky.
can't take my "massage oils" with me and am limited with how many scripts i can take and the amount. (the military docs have almost everything I might need and the rest I can get via my mail from my insurance provider.)
I have been asked to take only a weeks worth of vitamins, DAMN!!
Yes, I will be working out, but not really in a gym probably. we may have to improvise.
still no word on shipout, but we have been told to get our stuff in our bags and leave them in our cars in case we get called.
No, I am not military anymore by the way.

first off, I was fucking around when I said that, newb. this will be my second tour. last time was in Qatar escorting mainly PX civilians between the 3 bases there. never once had an incident.
as for packages, we had packages damaged, confiscated, rummaged through and stolen many times we were there. Read the stars and stripes and you will hear folks complaining about it all the time.
Yes, the termination has been suspended, but anytime they send more troops (and they are although they won't admit to it) they send more contractors. More than likely I will get stuck at the gate this whole tour inspecting vehicles. At least I am going in the winter time. The summer in Qatar SUCKED!
