Got My Blood Work Results

I got some blood work done to see if I could be a candidate for HRT. I've been experiencing some lethargy, not getting morning wood, not as horny as I used to be, etc.

My test serum level came back at 548 with the normal range being 348-1197.

My FSH level came back low at 1.1 with 1.5-12.4 being the normal range.

I'm 30 years old and have been off for about a year. I was wondering two things-- Is my test low considering I'm only 30? I know I'm in the normal range, but I'm in the lower end.

Also, does my low FSH level mean I can't knock anyone up? I don't want kids right now, but I do in the future. Should I run some clomid? Am I gonna have low FSH for the rest of my life?

By the way, my LH level was at 3.0 with 1.7-8.6 being normal.

I'm not an endo obviously but 548 really puts you in a limbo zone. If it were any higher they probably won't Rx you anything. If you were a bit lower they'd probably green light you.

IMO, your TEST should be higher for your age but you also shouldn't be feeling shitty with a 548 either ..high SHBG could be the reason why your having issues ...I think some PROV might fix you right up

i am going to an endo for my low test( 80) Lh Fsh non existent. Your range looks very good compared to mine considering i am 28. I think you should take some more time off and get tested say in 6 months. My urologist said that they also use clomid in men to increase LH. As for fertility you need to have a semen analysis.

Yeah, that level is perfectly normal for his age. The poster should consider himself lucky IMO.

Your results area all pretty "normal." Having said that 10-20% of men will feel symptoms of low T below 600. But you will have a very hard time getting any doc to prescribe you TRT with those levels. In my office i save it for patients under 500 generally.
