Grip/Blob Training Thread

Hey fellas, I was wondering if anyone else here trains grip? Exercises such as the hub challenge, block pinch, rolling thunder 1-armed deadlift, captains of crush grippers, blobs? basically all of the Ironmind stuff...

Id love to hear what weight some of you guys do for these exercises because I know we have some seriously strong bros lurking around on these boards.

by the way, if anyone has a blob (half of a 100lb roundhead york dumbbell) that they want to sell, PM me

I have a few things for grip, a couple wrist rollers, grippers, and a pinch block. I only use them once in a while though. When I saw you mentioned a blob, I took a look at the sites I have bookmarked. I only see one that size on ebay: the seller wants $400 plus shipping for it! Sorinex only has blobs up to 25 lbs but I've seen on their vids on youtube that they have a way to add weight. They may have more if you ask them.

I cant do a 45 hub lift. I can pinch 70 and hold it for over 10 seconds with the 3.5 inch block. Close the number 2 and hg 300 with a deep set, never tried a rolling thunder. I do farmers holds with 240-250 a hand for 40-50 sec. I've done the blob a few times but dont own one. love training grip. I have 7 inch hands so I need to train it a lot to keep up with everyone.
 
I do ... I close a 2.5CC and come 1/4" short on the 3. My PR is 227 on the rolling thunder in both hands, and I have never tried to blob. Where do you buy them?>
 
wrist rollers have helped my deadlifts and pull ups tremendously. i also like bus drivers with a 45.

Sick. Sounds great. Yea grip training is great. Definetly underrated. And I have gotten great results on the rest of my workouts due to my enhanced grip. I havent gotten even close to the blob, im still working on picking up a 35lb (half of a 70)

Yea I am really close to closing the 2.5. its way past parrallel. Good job on the 3, when you get it closed, you should get certified by ironmind. And your rolling thunder weight is great too.

Id say hang out gripboard .com...check it everyday in the selling section, blobs show up there a good amount of time.

someone flame me for this cause i dont know what they are called. :) i use those sqeezie things that some boxers use. i also feel that grip is trained indirectly during back day.
