You guys know the treatment given to those that lack height, They are given a hormone to attempt to increase height. Is that the same thing as HGH? And would it have a positive effect in terms of muscle mass?
Human growth hormone (HGH or GH) is givne to children to increase linear growth IF they start falling off the height charts for sex and age.
This workes because prior to maturity, the growth plates on bones are cartilage. Once maturity occurs, these calcify and no further growth of bones takes place. Administering HGH to a mature individual will not result in resumed linear growth.

It will make children taller since their bones have not sealed. Once you are around 20 it is too late. I think the HGH should be given to elderly people as long as they don't have cancer etc. I work on Lab equipment and visit may Hospitals etc. Some of these old people would benefit from Steroids or HGH. These old people use walkers etc. I bet with some juice they could get rid of the walker or simply use a cain. Just my 2 cents.
The lastest treatment for teenage boys who are well below average height is GH and Letro. Keeping the estrogen close to zeroed out stops the bone plates from fusing.
Possible , if he/she is going to exercise regulary. Because if they are going to indulge big mac's and coke every day, they are going to gain fat mass.
So lets assumed that said teenager regularly engauges in a solid routine (heavy training, Proper amounts of rest), Enough sleep 8-10 hours a night, and had their diet in check they would presumeably gain mass?
Whys that bro? Its just for informational purposes I got a friend in highschool that his old man wants to put him through that growth thing and I said I'd throw the question out here and see what turns up.
