gyno on hrt

im confused and i dont think my doc is steering me in the right direction,
screwed my levels up from personal use so they put me on testim 1% every day,my nipples started to hurt almost the first few weeks,i called the doctor a few times to question this,she lowers the test dose and thats it,she has done this twice now.
i have asked about arimidex and anti estrogens but i can't get a straight answer.
what should i be doing to handle gyno/estrogen issues while on hrt and occasionaly running a cycle?

I would use a small dose of AI (ARIMIDEX,LETRO) or low dose NOLVA and/or PROVIRON daily. Perhaps your doctor needs more education in this department?

Sounds like you know more about hrt than she does. You're probably insulting her when you spout off things that she is in the dark about. You know your shit, so just order what you need from a board sponsor ASAP.

Does not make alot of sense to me actually.
Topical preperations of testosterone generally will elivate DHT, due to the test cream comming into contact with hair follicles, DHT opposes estrogen to some degree so in theory this should not be a problem, hair loss would.....lol

Alcohol can elivate estrogen, do you drink?
Do you have more then normal amounts of belly fat?
Belly fat increases aromatase activity, this increases estrogen.

Lowering your T levels is not a good idea, you should have had a blood test to determine if it was estrogen or just you thinking you are getting gyno.
Gyno will have a small lump, itchy nipples wont necessarily mean that it is gyno.
Small lump yes, itchy nipples not for sure.

I know it's a real hassle, but if she's not inspiring confidence and you're asking for a second opinion on a board, it's time to find a new doc.

Really, unless she's an endocrinologist or urologist, she probably doesn't have a very good idea of how to treat you. Even when you're seeing a specialist, you'll find that the depth of understanding over HRT can very widely from one doctor to another.

thanks guys,yes i did just get tested for estrogen,i actually checked it off myself on the lab script so they would test it,my test levels are 1500+

i had no problems with gyno untill i started the testim,then it was and still is very sensitive..and thats all i was on untill recently
i drink ocassionaly but havent for months now,...body fat isnt too bad,
yes i was at bolex,i like it here and over there,my two favorite sites,...good info great guys
so were in agreement i should either get a new doc or do it myself...

1500 is pretty high......Id like to be that high, lol.............

no ,i was clean for a year,my test levels rose the past few months to that level,i recently began some other things but yes i was suprised it was that high also,it actually dropped to that,..
