Does anyone have any recommendations for a gyno surgeon in the Midwest. Closest to St. Louis is best. If anyone knows one that would be great. Thanks in advance

Probably better off going to NY to get it done. Maffei is one that’s highly regarded. There’s others but that one comes to mind quickly for me. Don’t go to some rando surgeon for this bro. Do it right and be done with it!

Lol he doesn’t have to go to New York. Gyno surgery is not as crazy as everyone says. St Louis is a flourishing metropolitan city. I’m sure there are plenty of well qualified surgeons. I did mine in Coral Springs, Florida. Just a typical upper middle class suburb. Google “gynocamastia surgeons in my area”. Read some reviews and make a consultation with 2-3 of them. I’d bet my left nut there are even a few in your area that specialize in gyno surgery.

I've heard of that done if there was a concern for malignancy but i don't know if it would be done by a gyno specialist

Odds are against you for insurance paying unless you can prove you have some tumor in there.

Cost will vary, but $5-8K is the common range depending on location and doctor.

Mr Dr wrote a letter to my insurance company and they picked up the tab. What he said who knows I was like 20 at the time. I should have shopped around more as I probably need it done again. I know now what to look for but when I was 20 I had no idea what to even ask.

Insurance won’t cover it more than likely and IF they do they will send you to a general surgeon would would likely lead to horrible results.
