Hair Restoration Protocols???

Hey Bros, who has kept or reversed hairloss and what did you do/take to do so.
I'm 40 and the past year it's gotten a bit thinner..I'd like to keep what I have or reverse if possible, thanks.

50-75 mgs of RU58841 applied post shower
1/2 cap of Minoxidil foam before bed
Ketoconazole shampoo 1% 3-4 x per week

Avoid DHT based and harder androgens (tren, mast, winstrol)
Testosterone on cycle <= 400 mgs per week

Might be too much for some guys, and they'd rather shave it off

I will look like Patrick from Spongebob if I shaved my head

In addition to what the thinket48 has said.

But I apply the RU58841 2 times daily and take oral and topical castor oil (increases pge2) and micro needle (increases growth factors on scalp and helps absorption of rogaine). Next time I decide to do a cycle with higher test I'll probably try finasteride (I haven't tried it yet) I do take saw palmetto sometimes.

I had hair surgery as well.

Add in oral finasteride on test, even 0.2 mgs in trt if it effects libido too much or every other day

On say a test and eq cycle make sure finasteride is at least 0.75 mgs , even 1.25, yes it can cause lower sex drive , nothing cialis didnt solve if needed

topical dut or finasteride as well

of course on deca only Ru and minox

Micro-needling is good and works I use this while not on ru, as on a cycle i use run, and in trt i might use it once a week

RU seems to very possibly have systemic side effects so its best used sparingly and unless im convinced otherwise microneedling with it is something I wouldnt do or recommend

my hairs recded some since i started hormones at 23, its also regrew when started minox and possibly ru, topical fina, and fina

make sure you find a good ru source bc one i used didnt seem to work, one now seems to so i stock with it

The systemic sides of RU never worried me that much, because half the year most of us have excess DHT anyway

I have no sexual sides, and hair holds pretty well so never needed to look at finas/dutas. I personally think killing off the main switch with those can be more problematic in a lot of people than a topical DHT blocker.

Yeah I agree, micro-needling should be done with consideration to the topical stuff one is running. If someone is loading up on RU or minoxidil, they really need to reconsider lowering their dose if they microneedle or not doing it at all.

Does she take AAS? If so then it is definitely androgen related. If not it can still be androgen related but it could also be a thyroid issue (she should probably get blood work). Some medications can cause this as well.

All these treatments should help her. Finasteride, probably not .

I know a woman that did PRP and it help her I've done it once I don't know how much it helped because I did it when I had hair surgery.

Oral RU does not make sense. Because it occupies the androgen receptor with no androgen activity(which you do not want to happen systemically). Trannies use similar medications "to turn from male to female".

Rogaine does seem dry out / age my forehead (my friend has similar sides). So I don't use it all the time.

Needling once a week with a derma pen - I have not seen one hair in the sink or in my hands after shampooing - u can get the pens on amazon - do it for 5 mins

A 5 ar inhibitor like finasteride doesn't kill dht, just reduces it, again it's dose depending and can use every other day

As far as using ru and minox once per day, like on a deca and test cycle, using a 5 ar inhibitor us not an option unless you want to increase androgenic effects in the scalp, which we don't want

Thanks everyone for your responses...hair protocols are new to me...
Gearwise I'm always on test 300-400/wk...then in the summer bump up to 600-700 test and 200 mast...in recent years
