I've become rather lethargic in the past year or so. This could be due to supplementation but could also very much be caused by other factors such as stress and things just not going well in everyday life.

I've noticed that those who are ambitious and who achieve great things, obviously have a ton of energy. Mental motivation can only do so much. Coffee doesn't do much for me.. nor any kind of caffeine supplement. B vitamins don't do jack either. I get plenty of sleep.

What develops that drive?

adrenal\cns fatigue? not an expert here, just something to google perhaps.

(EDIT) If you are talking about the drive to be successful and accomplish great things, I believe that is mostly state of mind.

It

might be a good idea to get some blood work done. It could be anything from low test to thyroid issues. The numbers won't lie, just go to the doc and get yourself checked out.

To directly answer your question, The drive you speak of comes from within. It is as much a mental phase as a physical. You must develope the mental aspects before they can be translated to your physical being.

You have nothing to lose by getting the bloodwork done, so go for it.

My take on it:
It's a matter of how the energy is channeled and cultivated on a day to day, moment to moment basis. No time is wasted, it is all (or as much as humanly possible) spent intentionally - either going toward things that actively lead one closer to his/her goals - or spent recovering mentally, physically and spiritually. Plan, execute, visualize outcome, know that success will come, and never give up, make changes when appropriate.

Most fall short of their potential by miles...the mind is more powerful than many realize.
