Hey guys, heres whats going on. I've been on a cycle of Test E for 8 weeks now low dose 250mg/week. This is my first cycle ever. I don't know how I did this but ive gained a little over 20lbs durring the course of this cycle (no junk food). I have been feeling fantastic, Im stronger than ever and have made some great progress. However for the past day or so, I have been having heart palpitations. Im an EMT so I know a little bit about the heart. I listened to my heart with a stethoscope for several mins, and sure enough I can defiantly hear it skipping a beat every so often, as well as being a little more of a "bounding" strong sound to it then normal. I can even feel it miss a beat while im just sitting in a chair. No family history of heart conditions. Anyways, do you think it could be because of the test? or the rapid weight gain?

Any insight would be great thanks every one.

First don`t listen you self have a specialist check you out, by listening you self can cause panic attacks.

well the simple answer is yeah to both (test and weight gain) it can effect your cardiovascular system to some degree ... your heart is working harder cause of the extra weight, as you probably know...

have you been stressed lately...anything different in your life now..beside the cycle..

Nothing supper stressful lately. Im in college so just home work stress but its minimal. I know that Test causes sodium and water retention in the body so I would imagine your heart could take on some extra water and sodium perhaps causing it to beat irregularly?

Tomorrow (sunday) is my 8th injection. I dont know if I should keep going for the 10 weeks that I had planned... or just throw in the towel right now. what do ya think?

I wouldn`t just quit, 250mg is very safe doz, I would go down to 100mg per week (50mg x 2 per week) and see a specialist on Monday. I would lower the sodium (lower only) and I would eat fruits and vegis that have natural diuretic effect, watermelon is very good for that.

Thanks for the great help man. So you recommend lowering the dose just to play it safe? or is it because that will help bring down some of the water weight?

you say 20plus pounds and no junk food but people react differently to all kinds of foods and hormones so 20plus pounds really says to me you have a lot of water on ya...my bp skyrockets when carrying water, what is you bp now compared to before cycle...get the sodium down and drop the water, i know for me that frees up my bp and the pounding in the heart

My BP is still within the normal range (126/80), it has not changed much, Which surprises me. The dose Im taking is small already, so I dont know if its worth cutting it down to a 100mg/week for my remaining 3 weeks? should i continue to drink lots of water? Would an AI help?

I was thinking panic attack also as soon as I read it, as many above have said. You can feel rational and calm during one, and it can make your heart do strange stuff. I'm betting you are fine, get it checked out.

i have been in that same situation, and ya, panic attacks was the main culprit. i get help/meds from my doc now for it, and those heart palps are a ton less, they still happen from time to time, but i handle them differently now. when it first happened,i was in central america for a couple of months trip, and was enjoying the "freedom" of pharmacis down their. was doing alot more than 250mg test, but i realize now i had issues with panic attacks and the heightened test levels, PLUS the water and salt levels like was mentioned, just fuks with my "palputaions". Listening to your heart beat like u are with your stethascope is just asking for a panic attack!! lol! i did the same shit!! Go to ur doc, tell him about the attacks, NOT the juice. 250mg of test isnt the coulprit, its the underlying condition. get help for the attacks, their natural and safe in most cases and many people get them, some notice them more than others. When u find the answer threw ur doc, you'll get to enjoy many more cycles with more than ur first test run of 250mg. good luck!

I've had work stress recently due to certain deadlines/money on the line etc. Very stressful, plus relationship issues. I started to get chest pains while not on cycle. As I paid attention and started to "de-stress" and take better care of myself the anxiety pains eased and though I've started a cycle in the past week the symptoms I was experiencing have actually subsided and are seriously reduced.

But, of course, if you feel the need, get it checked out!

Yes, absolutely get checked out...

But it sounds like panic attacks to me, which are very scary and real. I have been there as well my friend. I am a RN, so I know about fatal dysrhythmias, etc. and this just adds to my anxiety. Being in the medical field and seeing the messed up things we do just sets us up for anxiety!

I wish you the best. Take care of yourself bro. BTW... it is normal to have a "missed beat" or PVC every once in a while. Doctors don't even worry about it. A very experienced doc I know says everyone throws several PVCs per day.

OK, so you gaind 20lbs with 250mg, I think is becouse you did everything correctly (diet, training and rest) I think you will still have progres with 100mg per week, to bad you didn`t start with 100mg week, 100mg per week should be a mandatory for the first cycle.

Thanks for all the great input everyone its much appreciated.

Those of you that said in the last responses that you have suffered similar palpitations; did it also feel as though your overall all heart beat was stronger? I can be totally relaxed watching TV and feel my heart beat through my chest. Any how, Im gonna see the doc on tuesday and see whats up, probably not going to tell him about what im taking. Im suppose to have my 8th injection today but will most likely hold off till after the doc visit.

Thanks guys

Those are classic symptoms of heart palpitations. Stress and nerves can cause palpitations and anxiety, so can hormonal changes...

Take care!!

Do you feel symptomatic when experiencing these palpatations? Dizziness or lightheaded? Other things such as stimulants and even some herbals like Ginko or kava can cause them.

Are you taking any stimulants in addition to your cycle?

Also, as you know, your heart has a very specific contraction sequence when pumping blood. Sometimes perceived "skipped beats" are actually the heart's contraction sequence being a tad off on that occasion giving you that "skipped a beat" sensation.

I have Armidex and Nolva on hand, but have not touched any of it throughout my cycle so far. I thinking maybe a should run some of the nolvadex to help with the water retention. What do you guys think about that? what's the dosage protocol?

Thanks everyone for helping me out.
