Here's What Just Happened

I have several different e-mail accounts for different purposes. My primary account for correspondence is cyber-rights. The account I use for accepting photos, images, etc is hotmail.

Somebody sent me some pics to my cyber-rights account and OVERLOADED my account's capacity - I don't have much "unused" space there, that's why I have people send potentially large files to my hotmail account.

Here's what happened as a result of overloading my account. I HAD OVER FOUR YEARS OF EMAIL ADDRESSES THAT I'VE ACCUMULATED IN MY "CONTACTS" THAT HAVE BEEN LOST!

I emailed cyber to see if they can retrieve them but I really doubt they can

So - I've turned off my "contact me by e-mail" feature on this board. I'm considered activating the feature on my cyber-rights account that will only accept mail from another "hush" encrypted service.

Needless to say, I'm rather pissed now. I don't know how I'm going to regain all those email addys - probably 200 of them.

I had the same thing happen, bro... I had to upgrade my account to a pay account, and then everything was fine, nothing lost.

Jethro-I got those there was no problem on my server-free operamail.
Actually thats a fucked up feature of the free email provider that everything gets erased, and cannot be recovered. Im no software genius, but thats bullshit.

Like I say I have a pretty full user, free operamail and it didnt affect me at all.
Id blame the provider.
