I'm lucky enough to have a training partner that tosses an EZ bar across my lap. We just use 25's and smaller so that the weight doesn't hit the ground at the bottom.
I have a pull string gym bag that I use in the gym, just a little guy. I can fit 25's in it with ease plus the smaller pates. So I would stuff 2x25's + 10+5 and just throw it on my back and then both hands were free. You could bring a legit bookbag and handle a lot more.
