How often do you train calves?

Im lookin for experiece here. If you have decent calves, respond. How many times a week have you found works best for calf growth? I only train them twice a week now, i hear a lot of people like to train them more often.

at least 3x
 
2x/week if i'm doing cardio (cant recover as fast)

about 3x/week if i'm not doing cardio sometimes only two but i try to get that third one in if they're ok

i only do about 3 sets as well
300 for about 17 on standing calve
then 170 for 25

then seated calve, one leg at a time for 25
 
2 sets per week, not 2 exercises but just 2 sets a week...
 
3x a week
2 exercises
4 sets each exercise
reps at 30,25,15,10
 
I brought my shitty calves up by switching to 3x wk. Still not my best muscle group :( but much improved .
 
I think i have decent calves, Maybe only trained them 10 times in 12 years.

I guess i don't count in this thread, sorry i was bored

Once a week, like all other muscle groups. Intense, very heavy, low reps.
 
Calves

Like Big A said, I used to train my calves with higher reps, was not untill I piked on the lbs and went lower on the reps with them did mine start to really grow, if nothing else has worked for ya, try heavy as shit lbs and lower reps, low to moderate volume and slow mo rep cadence.

I train my calves every other day. I rotate with my abs. I find this way works best for me and stimulates the most growth.

Once a week might give you some more size Gal. I find once a week works well for me, then again, I've never done anything else. Since they are the same size as my neck and arms, I guess they are on target. I like to do a set of seated and dropset straight to standing to really feel them. 4 and 4 only takes about 15 minutes.
 
Once a week. Any more than that I feel (for myself) is overkill!

i 'm getting 18-19 calf implants done in april...

after talking things over with my ortho and the way my ankle was crushed i'll never be able to develop my right calf because i wont be able to flex it 100% my ROM is only like 75% and he doesnt expect much improvment..it will most likely gain some size and return to the normal size of my other calf wich due to not training is like 16inches...so they will both be 16inches but i wont be able to make the right one grow ant more than that...

so when i get all the metal take out of my ankle next april approx.. i will have my plastic surgeon do some calf implants for me...

oh well at least i can still train quads well i will be able to after i get the screws out of the distal end of my femur that hold my steel rod in there...i cant even train quads now as the screws stick out and scrape my medial quad when it is under weight..

i was doing dc's 2-3 sets per week for calves....unbearable pain...lol

calves grew like 1inch in 90 days from doing the DC calf routine...they were like 18" before i got run down/over..
