I was at that same show in St. Louis......It was the junior nationals.....and yes....Vince was a sight to see.....damn good size and of course a fine posing routine!

I found the placings for that contest. Vince got 3rd and you placed 8th. I havent been able to dig up any video yet. When was your last contest Phil? Just wondering when you decided to retire.

Vince was the guest poser at my first show at 16, never in my life had i been in awe that much. Funny thing was i guess he saw me staring and nudged my shoulder and pointed towards the trophies and said, Which one you takin hme with ya boss?

What up Vince I remember ya showed me a few things in the late 80's/early 90's at PARADISE GYM in Miami....Ring a bell? I used to work there when in High school. I remember working the NPC Nationals at the Fountainbleu and you were in attendance and maybe even guest posed. You lived in Europe (France) if I remember and I was always in awe when you would walk in the gym. Very humble and sincere. When ya would ride that old stationary bike to warm up your calfs were so big you could barely get a full pedal without bowing out your legs. Remember Tim Beatty the owner? Memories Bro. I never forgot you. It was a quaint laid back gym in a wearhouse for serious lifters. Where I first started training people before there were "trainers". Ya look great bro and you were my inspiration when I was teenager-still are

I have long admired your physique and your ability to
“hang on” as the sands of time march one . . .

Now. . . regarding this forum . . . there is lots of
love on his forum and an insatiable appetite for
for knowledge / advise, especially from people who
have been there . . . done that . . got the T shirt.
(Yes, you fall into that category.) So, don’t be
alarmed by a barrage of questions, mostly regarding
your “supplement” usage, your training, and your
diet, not necessarily in that order . . .

We have a few pro’s on this forum, the good ones
contribute regularly and we are thankful. The others
post now-and–again, mostly in a thinly veiled way
as to promote themselves and rarely give back. I
sincerely hope you fall into the former . . . not the
latter category as I believe you have much to offer.

Yes, our intentions are good, but sometimes we get
mired in the minutia, can’t see the forest for the trees.
Nobody can look like you Vince, regardless of what
you say and they do. We are not you. You know that.
You are unique, just like everybody else.

So . . . if you plan on contributing with meaningful
information, and I hope you do . . . please put your
patience hat on, buckle up, and enjoy the ride. It’s
really a lot of fun if you don’t take it so serious. And
please understand that you will never have the time
or patience to answer all the questions, but we will
