If not penetrating deep enough into muscle during injections what will happen?

just finished doing a 1ml injection into pectoral using a .5 or 1/2 inch pin 27 gauge and if i didnt go deep enough how can i tell?

I got a surplus of 27g .5 or 1/2 inch pins i was using to inject b12 sub-q from veternian b-complex bottles that used to have 1000mcg b12 per ml until they quit dosing the b12 that high in it anymore.I have some gear made comprised of 70%eo and 30% gso which people say goes easily through a 27 gauge which it did.

I was injecting into pecs/delts with a 5/8 inch pin but figured since the 1/2 is a 4/8's inch opposed to 5/8's they might work also.How will i know if i am not penetrating deep enough?

usually nothing it will just take longer to absorb

it usually gets red and irritated or bruised but if you're lean enough you should be ok with your pins!

its gets red irritated like stated and sometimes hurts alot more than it should if it was IM.

Agreed and sometimes the oil will bubble outside the muscle right under the skin.... causing a lump

Well least im more confident my gear isnt wasted if not all in muscle and/or dangerous as figured may be.
