If/When you get oil in your fat

Lets say hypothetically a friend of a friend ;-) got about 1cc in of test cyp in the fat area instead of the muscle. How long does it take for that swelling and pain to subside?
In all seriousness I did this last week. And man it hurts! I was wondering if anyone has done this, how long it took before it went away, and anything they can do to help the pain.
