I realized there was a thread short time ago about milk thistle vs. liv-52.

What about Synthergine vs. Liv-52? Granted, Liv-52 is not that expensive, dirt cheap via Ebay. That's not the question though.

It's simply, if you had to choose, which one would be ultimately the "best?"

Both are excellent choices. From what I gather they work through different mechanisms, so if you can get your hands on both use them in tandem. If you can only afford one then by all means as a member of this board support our sponsor. Big A's product is fantastic from many member's experiences...
 
Taking synthergine now...

I've only been on it just under a week and already I'm getting my appetite back. I was hardly ever actually "hungry." I just ate b/c I was supposed to or had some kind of craving.

I see your point about working through different mechanisms. I was just hoping to shave off whatever extra $$ I could.
 
I know that I am taking Synthergine.

If you read the literature that Dat Brute wrote on the effectiveness of Synthergine its pretty tough to pass it up.

I don't ever recall hearing any science behind Liv-52. Yet if anyone knows of a study or hard facts please correct me.

Not say Liv isn't ok just saying their are better jmo.

Just curious what most people dose their Synthergine at? Also if anyone splits it up throughout the day or just takes it all at once.

Also I remember seeing that you can sip it. Will this be equally effective? I would think that pinning would be the more effective way, but if the difference is nonexistent or at least negligible then why not sip away?

My conclusion...

Thanks for everyone's input, both here and via PM.

I think approaching liver health from a couple avenue's would be best. I don' t like Milk Thistle (for MY circumstances) as it MIGHT impede/prevent certain supplements from entering or fully entering the liver, thus decreasing/voiding their effectiveness.

Synthergine is quite costly at the full dose (1ml/55lbs). I know, you can't put a price on health, I see death and disease everyday at work. At the same time, being the sole breadwinner I do need to be a good steward physically AND financially.

So here's my approach:
1) Synthergine- HALF dose (2mL) in the AM

2) Liv-52- since it's so cheap, especially on Ebay, I will take between the regular or double dose.

Yes, you're right donjoy, thanks for the catch! So at 220lbs, it comes to 4mL's.
