I am not good enough to have had to meet him yet. Maybe Phil? One thing that I have come to realise is that the more 'deeper' I get into the sport, the more I realise that 'politics' or whatever most people call them are not that bad. JW gets a bad rep because to be in his postition he would have had to piss off a lot of people. Bad luck to them. That's the way business goes.
Regarding judging, if you have competent judges, the results are usually OK. For example, I judge smaller shows and I have had very good friends up on stage where there would be a toss up between my friend and another guy for first and I gave the other guy the nod simply because I thought he was actually better. If I would have given it to my friend, noone would have complained. And I was his friend, who was also sponsoring the competition, and sponsoring his division and sponsoring him. And still putting him second, because in my opinion he wasn't as good.
Now, the supplement industry - as a general rule, the biggest bunch of sharlatans I have ever met in my life in ANY industry. And I have been involved business wise in some shady industries!
