Ya, I didn't mean literally anabolic. But it seems to promote muscle sparing and promotes leaner physique when dieting. Although, she did say the IF group had more muscle mass with no other changes when compared to the other group eating over more time. It seems it tends to make the metabolism more efficient overall.
Dr. Rhonda Patrick is great - she also has a podcast that goes rather deep into a lot of topics. Can’t say if the stuff talked about is ever right or wrong from studies, but it is interesting to hear. In my opinion, all research needs to be taken with a grain of salt and compared to what experience shows
