Looking into trying this. Have no idea how or where to start. Foods to eat. What to drink. Basically how to do it. Need some help.

I’ll answer this real quick though. You eat the same shit, drink the same shit. You just eat in a smaller window of time. That’s all it is.
 
Google is yo friend. You'll find plenty of sites (including here) that cover all the basics. When I was more into IF I preferred a Leangains type setup (search "Leangains" and you'll find lots of info).
 
Why would you do it though?

It doesn't work better than a regular diet and is even potentially catabolic when you're fasting...
 
The most important question why you wanna do it?
 
Shits easy and works

Basically take your daily food intake for your goal, rather than spread it out all day, jam it in a small feeding window. Most do 16 fasting 8 feeding. I like two big meals so I just hit the eaa after work, gym, then 2 meals. So like 18/6 for me. I prefer fast by day feed later because I can look forward to eating later and don't want to "waste" a meal sitting in the break room at work, rather eat a fresh cooked meal at home with no one bothering me. Also, it puts the feeding window around training. Other than cramming the food into a small window nothing novel. Probably a poor choice for someone bulking on 6k complaining about how he is distended with no appetite. But a great choice for someone dieting starving on 2500 calories
