This saddens me to hear that he lived in such turmoil and could not seek the help he deserved.
What saddens me is the fact that
NO-
ONE was able to
"reach" him during a period when he needed someone,
anyone to help him through a seemingly difficult time.
(I'm NOT referring to anyone on this board specifically).
Some people can hide their feelings very well. Sometimes, when
we are truly down, feeling helpless and defeated, we can't find the "strength/courage" to seek help & assistance from others.
OR, sometimes we fear that our problems may seem insignificant to "others," therefore
we end up burying them deep inside, in an attempt to disguise them from those we are close with.
Most who knew him also knew
specifically what is was he was going through and although no-one ever thought he would
"do" the
"unthinkable," it is now blatantly obvious that his
"problems" were weighing on him much more than anyone realized.
"NO MAN is an ISLAND and NO MAN should have to stand alone. We all need someone, sometime; especially in times of undeniable strife. Personally, I cannot fathom the sheer turmoil he must have endured to finally reach the point where death out-weighed the very thought of living.
(in his mind). Most of us will
NEVER know that much pain/strife.
May the Lord show grace and favor upon his tormented soul!
