I tend to go way to deep into thought. I’ve seen and there on the board members bringing up the newer generation. How they act, etiquette, situational circumstances.
I don’t personally have children so I can’t really comment but is it parenting over the years has changed? Or is it social media and technological advancements that have made generation z the way they are.
I have said it a couple times remember your grandfather would say well back in my day it was better. Same with fathers and whoever. There generation was always better. I don’t see generation z being dominant, in fact the way they think is very scary for the economy. My wife is in the military and they have watch on saturdays. Ages 18-24 sometimes just don’t show up to there watch. That’s the military. Can you imagine if that happens in China? I don’t see the United States being the dominant country in years to come. This shit keeps me up at night.
Kids have been coddled into thinking that they are all special and they can do anything and be anything without actually having any talent, resources or work ethic into fulfilling that silly fantasy. Then they get older and realize "hey I'm not special" and they are really angry with the world for it or they refuse to admit that and float through life waiting for their fantasy world to happen, more specifically have it handed to them. They think they know everything because they were always told how smart and amazing they are even if they were dumb as bricks but at the drop of a hat they completely fall apart when anything at all becomes real for those same reasons, they can't handle anything real that life throws at them.....don't even get me started on their non existent social skills they're all so awkward and starving for pointless attention it's comical, they never had incentive to grow up and now they don't want to.
It's actually not something new this has been going on for a while, a huge percentage of anyone around the age of 30 and younger has no self reliance, sense of reality, inner pride or work ethic whatsoever. It gets exponentially worse the younger you go, there are definitely outliers I have some young relatives who are hard working go getters but they come from more recent immigrant parents, I also have young relatives with more modern westernized immigrant parents and they are completely worthless as humans much less as men.
I'm 37, my fathers favorite thing to tell me growing up in a thick boater accent was "Franko you dumb stupid lazy" that was his way of motivating me......he actually still tells me that all the time hahahah
The USA will still be dominant while guys like us are able bodied but that's not going to last too much longer which is quite sobering.
