Alot of what Littleslice has been saying about women is true.
Howevr, here is the kicker. Older generations of men may not be a privy to it, because alot of it has to do with the age of women.
In general, the moral quality and social values in younger women are declining. They are more apt to be promiscuous, and leverage the law to their advantage.
Moreoever, the laws in this country have evolved to favor women in divorces.
Marriage is a very scary proposition for a man with any net worth in this country.
A young woman can very easily get married to a guy, and decided to leave for any reason, and walk away with half (or more) of his money. Her incentive to leave is walking away with 50% of his net worth, even if she brought little to none into a marraige. What is her incentive to stay?
In order to make this systemic problem go away... we must somehow remove the financial incentives for divorce. If you get divorced, you should leave with only the assets you entered the marriage with, plus some kind of actual fair split of what you contributed during the marriage.
