So after a 4 month, cold turkey layoff of both gear and gym with a pathetic diet, i got the itch and im back. Needless to say, substantial muscle lost and fat gained.
I am on my 6th day of keto, keeping net carbs at around 25g/day. I dont want to straight cut, because i have already lost a bunch of muscle and strength, but i know pounding calories to bulk would be just as stupid.
I will be running 500mg of Test C and 600mg of EQ, first pin was yesterday, and will be 4 weeks or so before everything kicks in.
Should i continue to run keto for 4 week til my oils kick in and i can utilize the excess protein synthesis then switch, the whole way through, or just cut it out altogether and eat clean af?
My experience with gaining muscle/strength on keto has been shit, i was told by a professional that muscle gain comes down strictly to calorie surplus and to up fat/protein.
I am currently 5'9, 225 lbs, probably 20% bf.
Suggestions?
