Well, last night I tweaked my knee pretty badly. After a visit to the doc, x-ray, and visit to a sports medicine clinic, I found I suffered a level 2 strain to my LCL - lateral collateral ligament. It's the one on the outside of the knee. This also means I have a partial tear. FML.
I return home on Sat, and my normal running regime is obviously out. A week off from the leg, then stationary bike for the next 4 weeks.
I'm good on upper body, I'm just curious if anyone has experience with this sort of thing as far as working legs. They gave me a neoprene brace (that has the metal joint inside the knee wrap), and I am just wondering if there are any leg workouts that would be safe to eventually work into.
