Would something like this be a good idea to eat to add muscle while staying lean?

Goal: Too add muscle while staying from 10% Bodyfat to 12% Bodyfat maximun.


Eat Protein and Fats for all meal with veggies.

Post workout: eat 60G of Carbs from Oatmeal

Daily plan would be this:

All the meals would be:

1.Protein + Fats + Veggies

2.Post workout: Isolate 48G Protein + 60G Carbs from oatmeal in a shake with water and ice cubes.

Kinda like a Keto diet all day Except post workout where i eat 60G Carbs from Oatmeal.

Matt Porter wrote a good article on his site about staying lean while growing... it's directed at guys who are naturally softer / don't do well with higher carbs

it implements a strategy similar to what you are suggesting..


I would recommend reading it.

What about slowly (very slowly) upping carbs , I was in the same boat and tried this and it worked great ,, I started very low bf though , but can handle carbs heaps better than I used to be able to

"Lean bulking" or "growing without getting sloppy and having to diet off all your gains later as i like to call it" is the best idea.

The trick is to teach people they don't need 5,000mg of gear a week to do it.

Im super carb sensitive so i try to limit them to the meal before , during and after training.
